MAC OSX version

This is the list of features I would like to see on a Mac OSX program.
Is a version of your Windows program coming for the Mac?

Tom

A:
Hi Tom,
thanks for your email. I'm happy you appreciate so much PomoTime.
Other people already asked me for a Mac version of the app.
To tell the truth I've always made programs for Windows, I didn't plan to port PomoTime on other platforms. Anyway that could be an interesting thing to do. I should study a bit how to accomplish that.

Editing

I'm used to selecting words with ctrl-shift and arrow keys in other applications when I edit text, but this does not work in PomoTime. Any chance it could be implemented?

A:
Yes, new editing features will be implemented in the future.
In the next release I think I will add some simple capability to move, copy/paste text.

Some suggestions

1. Make the app minimizable to tray. Make the timer minimizable to tray. Or better yet, make the timer part of the app and when minimized to tray it would show the timer (if it\'s running)

A:
You can minimize the app by pressing 'Esc' button on your keyboard, or by clicking on the upper right button (the yellow one).
In the past the timer was infact part of the main window. Many people claimed they needed to see the minutes left but the app occupied a big portion of the screen.
The solution adopted in the version 1.4.0 was to display the timer in a separate small window which stays always on top, so that you can minimize the main (big) window and free alot of room in the screen for other apps.
You can move the Timer window and position it where you like. The problem is that as you start a new pomo the timer window goes back to its initial position. In the previous discussions like "Minutes left in the Task-bar" by Michael or "Remembering Timer position" (http://www.xoring.com/commentpage.html) posted by boardtc there's a suggestion to change this behaviour.

2. Play a sound when time's up.

A:
You can enable a sound in the 'Settings' window. If a pomo is NOT active, right-click with your mouse > select 'Settings' (please note that if a pomo is running this item is disabled).
Check 'Alarm sound' check-box.
Click 'OK' button.
Now whenever a pomodoro elapses a sound will be played. Refer to page 'http://www.xoring.com/pomotime_v140scrshot.html' to see some screenshots.

3. Add a button to cancel last score (useful when starting with pomodoro and/or tool); maybe right click on the icon would also work nicely, now it's only possible by right-clicking and navigating the menu.

A:
That will be implemented in a future release.
For now you can right-click with your mouse > Scores... > Cancel Last Score to cancel the last score on a Todo sheet row.

4. Add option to hide clock until it rings and only then show it.

A:
That's an interesting option to be added in the settings window.
In the previous discussions like "Minutes left in the Task-bar" by Michael or "Remembering Timer position" (http://www.xoring.com/commentpage.html) posted by boardtc they suggested such a feature.

5 Add the ability to cancel the currently running pomodoro (since I do get some irrevocable interruptions throughout the day and I'd like to document them).
In the pdf ebook this means a dash I think, instead of the X.

A:
To abandon a running pomo you just have to stop the timer.
You can do this by clicking on the small 'clock' button, the 1st in the upper left corner. It's the same button that you can use to Start the Timer.
By stopping the Timer the apps keeps track of it and displays the percentage of abandoned/started pomos (see the "bad poms" percentage in the upper right area marked with a red segment).
The Statistics page (the pink one) displays the percentage of abandoned pomos on a month basis. To access this page, click on the '>' or '<' button in the upper right corner to browse pages (Todo Sheet, Inventory list, Statistics).

6 And one more general suggestion: the "sheet" stuff in the book looks really nice.
For example I'd love to be able to add the estimation "boxes", then check/pomo those, and then add circles for reestimating.
Of course, this would mean that, for a given task, there would have to be two rows of symbols: one for interruptions and one for estimations/pomos/reestimations.

A:
That's interesting.
In future releases user will be able to deal with estimate/reestimated pomos.

I my replies are not quite clear, just let me know.

Thanks for using PomoTime

Copy & Paste, export to Excel

Two other features nice to have:

(1) the ability to copy and paste from and to the Inventory List and the To Do Sheet.
(2) Export to Excell (or .csv) for each screen.

I feel these would be absolutely necessary for me to stop using Excel and start using your product on a regular basis.

Thanks.

Copy & Paste

I can't copy text from Google docs and paste it on the Todo Sheet.
Neither from my notepad

A:
At the moment the Copy & Paste functionality is not implemented.
For sure that will be one the things to be added into next releases.
I agree with you, it would be more convenient to have the ability to move text, copy from Inventory list and paste it into todo sheet, and so on.
To tell the truth now I was working to allow Chinese, Japanese users to use PomoTime with their keyboards.
I don't know, maybe I will add copy/paste feature with the next 1.4.1.

ok
thanks

Minutes left in the Task-bar

Hi, I really appreciate the Break timer in Version 1.4, but miss the time display in the task bar.
I'm not sure if this is a bug or intentional, but the time counter in the task bar is disabled if the "on top" clock is disabled, so I have a choice of two timer displays or none.
The on top clock insists on locating itself over one of my most used menus in Manifold GIS, so I would like to be able to turn it off without losing the task bar time display.

A:
In the next releases the timer window will "remember" its position whenever a new pomo is started. Currently you can drag it by your mouse anywhere on your screen, but as you start a new pomo the timer window will be positioned back in the old position.

During break-times the task-bar displays the minutes left, or better to say it "could" display the minutes left.
Infact when you have many apps running on your pc, Windows can shorten the task-bar length or group together task bars of the same family. That will result in loosing the strings displayed, the only chance is a tooltip displayed when you move your mouse over the task-bar.
So you can't trust so much on messages displayed on the task-bar, I think it's better to have an "always-on-top" window for minutes left (together messages on task-bar).

Your suggestion of having a configurable option to have or not a timer window is interesting.

If my reply does not completely answer to your questions, let me know.

I'm not sure if I was clear.
There seems to already be the option to not have the timer window, I found if I click on the little clock icon, the timer window goes away, unfortunately the time display in the task bar vanishes as well.
All I was asking was for the time display in the task bar to stay when the timer window goes off, which would give the same result as v1.3, but with the really useful break timer. (although I'm still taking too long breaks).
Thanks,
Michael

A:
Hi Michael,
the little clock icon works as a toggle button, it can Start/Stop the timer.
So if you press it when the timer is off it will start the timer. Instead if the timer is on, that button will stop the timer.
For instance the other small tomato button just adds a tomato the current task.

I agree that's not very clear to the user, I should provide at least a tooltip on each button to better explain its effect.

So if you click on the small clock button while a break-time is going on, if the timer is measuring the break-time (it depends on your settings) it will stop the timer, so no count-down will be carried out, the timer window will be closed, no count-down will be displayed at all into the task-bar.

At the moment whenever the timer is active the timer window is displayed and vice-versa.
In a next release there could be a new setting option to display the count-down only on task-bar or also with the timer window.

If I didn't get what you exactly meant let me know.
Antonio.

Thankyou, I had it wrong, I noticed it hid the time display, but didn't notice it stopped the timer as well.
That's odd because I expected it to stop the timer, but when I tried, I thought it just hid the display.

The option to just display in the task bar is good for me, I've got two 24 inch monitors, so plenty of task bar space, but the timer wijndow always seems to get in the way of something.

Ticking sound

Great stuff.
Would like the 'ticking sound' to be an actual ticking sound rather than a bell.
Otherwise, I love it.

A:
Hi gdmilner_a,
you're right, the current bell sound is not so nice, a real ticking sound would be a good change. I'll consider this for the next releases.

Remembering Timer position, small Clock button

When I start a Pomo the timer goes to the top left of the screen.
I then move it onto my second monitor but the position is not remembered the next time I start the timer and I have to move it again.

Cheers,
Tom.

A:
That's an interesting feature, I think I will implement it in the next release.

Today I started the timer on a pop with no title.
I meant to do it on the todo above, Maybe you could have a warning/not allow a start for a Pomo with no text or at least the option to have this.
The info on the website for 1.4 says Timer controls break-time intervals (customizable).
I have not neem able to figure out how to use this/find it in the help?
I could not find any help on the correction sign and was afraid to click it to try as there's no undo for these things!

A:
You're right, the app should avoid starting the timer if the task description is missing.

About the Break-time Intervals: if you enable this option by setting a value in the 'settings' window - for instance 6 - , the app will authomatically measure a time interval of 6 minutes for your break-time after a pomodoro is done.
After 6 minutes have elapsed a message will prompt to remember you that it's time to start a new pomodoro.
Many people asked me to add such a feature, and I myself find it very useful just to avoid that my break-times take too long.
In the next release after 4 pomodoros are done a longer break will be given to the user.

I could not find any help on the correction sign and was afraid to click it to try as there's no undo for these things!

A:
That button is a quick way to mark a task as 'done'.
If you press it, the task which is currently selected - i.e. the task with the pencil - will be marked with a crossing line and a 'check' sign will be added to the scores.

Resizable window

Great to revieve this gift for the new year. here is my first comment in 2010:-)
version: v1.4
the height of the window is a bigger than screen(1280*800) meanwhile the main window can't be resized.
comments
1) add resizing function for the window
2) add scoll bar(s) for both task list and unplanned list if they can't feet in the window.

A:
Hi Shinco,
thanks for your feedback.
You're right, resize + scroll capability are necessary if the screen is not so big.

Undo

You´ve done a great job! Please continue with this great tool!
It would be helpful if the tool have an undo-Option, for examples if i put too many scores at a task...

Damir

A:
Thanks alot, Damir.
I'll take note of your interesting suggestion.

New features on Inventory list

I'd suggest being able to import the inventory list from a prior day with the ability to delete entries.

If you wanted to go nuts, you could create a function to move from the inventory list to the To Do sheet.

Thanks for the great software.

A:
Hi Kirk,
thank you for your feedback.

Now you can import the task description list from a previous To-do Sheet on the current To-do Sheet.
Do you mean to add the capability to import from the Inventory List to the current Todo Sheet?
Or you mean the ability to delete all a description, like it is possible in the Todo Sheet?

In the future copy/paste features will be added to manage text. Your idea of moving tasks from Inventory List to the Todo Sheet is interesting.

I appreciate all the work on this program. The effort and excellence shows.

My suggestion is to copy the inventory list from a previous inventory list. I would also like to be able to delete items from the inventory list.

I would use the inventory list to keep all items I have to do but do not have scheduled to work on today.

One further thought - adding a date element to each item (when first entered) would be valuable for tracking how long an action item has been open.

A:
Hi Kirk,
I'm happy you appreciate so much the program, thanks.

There is a unique Inventory list, whenever you open the app, the (unique) Inventory list is loaded, all items entered are saved when you exit the program.
So you can have several To-do Sheets saved while for sure only 1 Inventory list.
It shouldn't be necessary to copy from one Inv. list to one another. If you found it doesn't work in this manner, that's a bug.

About your other suggestions they are interesting, I will consider them for next releases.

String manipulation

Hello there, just wanted to congratulate for this nice little Tool. Very neat. I started using it and I think there are some features which would be nice ... the one I have not yet seen on the comment list: it would be nice to select a task on the inventory list an automatically move it to the todo list.
Cheers, great work!

A:
The feature you describe is really interesting.
Many times I need to move a task from Inventory List and that feature would be really nice.
In the future I will provide also copy/paste capabilities to better manage task descriptions.

Break time controlled by PomoTime

Just starting to use the tomato technique and your software...
And experiencing the same problem...
Too much time and distractions between Pomodoros.
They must be controlled by your software. It should allow to configure the length of an automatic timer that starts after finishing a Pomodoro, and a bigger time period between "x" pomodoros (say 4, 5, ...). This timer could be disabled or cancelled once started.

Please, for our productivity ... Do it as soon as possible !!! :-)

Thanks and nice software !!!,

Oscar

A:
In the next version which is almost ready the time between pomodoros will be controlled by the app itself.
You can set for instance 6 minutes for the break times. After a pomodoro is done the timer will start again from 6. As it elapses it prompts you with a message to advise it's time to start a new pomodoro.
I'm already using this feature (for debugging) and I think it really helps to control distractions between pomodoros.

German version and Macintosh version

Thank you for your fine programme. But I would like to request some small new helpful features: as I am German I would like to have the fundamental lines "to do sheet" and "unplanned & urgent" etc in German. Could you program these text-lines to be configurable?

Second: the size of the sheet itself should be changeable, as I leave it open most of the time and do not minimize it. So it is often in my way, when it is so big.
I would like to have the possibility to change it's size.

Finally a personal request: as I am working mostly on Macintosh, not on Windows: is it possible for you to transcribe the programme also to Mac?
Most programmers forget us, the users of Macintosh ;-((

A:
I guess you keep the PomoTime window visible in order to see the minutes left while the timer is running.
In the next release the timer count-down will be displayed in a separate window which stays always on top.
So even if the user minimizes the PomoTime window the minutes left are well visible anyway. Do you think that may solve the problem you mentioned?

I don't know if the program can be easily ported to Macintosh. That's an interesting issue.
Of course now it works only on Windows and to tell the truth I never worried about such a problem in the past.
But I will take a note of it, maybe in the future..

Pomodoros Estimate

Great tool - nice look and feel.
Please include a provision for task estimation - planned [x], revised, unplanned (x) -
and possibly providing statistics on the estimation.

Pomodoros Estimate

Gr8 software...thanx a lot
It would be best if there is provision to make estimate (first and second)
otherwise the program is excellent.
keep the good work going.
more pomodoros for u....

thanks for your comment.
For sure the pomodoro estimation feature will be added in a future
version. It really seeems to be an interesting improvement.

Clipboard

FeatureRequest: Add ability to work with the system clipboard.
Currently, it's not possible to paste text into the to-do list

A:
Thanks for your suggestion.
That's interesting. I'll work on it, clipboard is an interesting feature to paste text.

a mark for both internal and external interruption,
a estemated time for each task on the to do today list.

I was delighted to find the link to your software via your comment on the lifehacker mac Pomodoro software page.

PomoTime is a very impressive implementation of the Pomodoro technique. Thanks a lot.

Save feature

I seem to be doing something wrong, in that I've been using pomotime for two days,
and everything is showing up on the 14th. In fact the bar chart is way off the top
(I've done something like 38 pomodoros in the last 48 hours.)
Do I need to create the new to do sheet each day perhaps?
Thank you! ^_^ Ivo

A:
Hi Ivo,
yes, you should have one To-do list for each day.

So everyday start with a New Todo list, or as I always do, as almost the same tasks of yesterday are still valid today, I do an Import of task descriptions from yesterday's *.pm1 file.

If you leave the app open overnight and then continue using it, everything will be still referring to yesterday.
That's an issue that must be fixed.

At the moment if you collect more than 14 pomodoros the bar chart goes out of range and that's another thing to fix.

Currently I'm working on the timer count-down visualization, in order to display it in a separate small window which should stay always on top, even if you minimize the app or put on foreground other windows.

How many To-do lists per day?

It appears that I can only have 7 todo items on a list - that's OK - I saved my existing list and started a new one for later in the day - but it appears to overide the exisitng list - so you can only do at most 7 items a day as you can only have one list per a day?

A:
Hi Lissie,
yes, at the moment you can have at most 7 items a day for the to-do list.
And at most one 1 to-do list a day.
This behavior was a quick solution that fit enough well for early versions.
Now it's time to revise it.

Thanks for your comment.

Antonio.

Copy/Paste feature

How about add Copy/Paste during input Daily Task:-)

A minor comment: the task edition is always in overwrite mode, no insert mode.

A:
In the next release (v1.3.0) the editing will be in insert mode.
That's more useful I guess, expecially when you want to add a dead-line at the beginning of a task description.

Copy and Paste capability is an interesting feature. Release v1.3.0 will have an Inventory-List page, one more reason to add copy/paste features.

'To-do' list and F1, F2,.. Shortkeys

Love the Pomo Time program!
Best Windows version I've found.
However, two things would make it even better:
1. I need to be able to add more than 7 things to the TO DO list page.
2. The F1, F2, F3 etc shortkeys don\'t work. Thanks!

A:
I'm cheking the F1, F2 shorkeys and in my case they work fine.
F1 displays a quick help, F2 opens a Todo sheet file, F9 change page, etc.
Maybe you tested the shortkeys while PomoTime window had NO FOCUS?
When it loses the focus it becomes slightly darker.
In this situation the app will receive no input from the keyboard, so no shortkey will have effect.
To be sure that it really has the focus just click on the PomoTime window.
Then press one of the available shortkeys.

About the number of lines in the ToDo sheet, well they will be increased.
I think not in the next release - which is almost ready - that implements a further page for the Inventory List.

Let me know if this reply didn't help too much.

More than 7 items in the 'To-do' list

Hi,
I am using your Pomodoro tool and find it excellent.
I want to know whether it is possible to have more than 7 items in the 'To-do' list.
Currently the size of the list seems to be fixed and predefined.
Would appreciate a response.

A:
In the next releases the list will be enlarged.
At the beginning it was even shorter, I see now that 7 lines for planned tasks is not enough.

More lines for To-do Sheet

love the app.

Is there any way to allow the user to add lines for to do items?
My action list is longer than 5.

A:
The next release v1.2.3 will have 7 rows for To-do tasks
and 7 rows for Unplanned & Urgent ones.
In the future further rows will be presumably added.

xml / txt format for Todo sheets

I like the application.

One improvment I see will be the todo sheets to be saved in xml/txt format.
This will allow users to keep tracking and allow you to better integrate
with other apps.

Bug: scores disappear after a skin change
Inventory Sheet, Hot-keys requests.

BUG: Summary: The pomodoros icons get disappear after skin change.
version: 1.2.2

A:
...still investigating...

Feature Request:
- Please add the Activities Inventory Page
- Please add the Recording Page (to be able to record number of pomodoros per activity and build graphs)

Thanks!

A:
The Activities Inventory Page is the next feature that will be added (after release 1.2.3).
That will be followed by the Recording Page feature.

Feature Request:
- Add ability to scale the pages (to-do list). Because the number of tasks may exceed the page area
- Add ability to hot key scores
- Add ability to hot key to-do list functions (open, save ..)

A:
In the next release (v1.2.3) more rows will be available in the To-do Sheet.
Some hot-keys are already available (press 'F1' for the whole list).
'F2' open a To-do Sheet file
'F5' Start the Timer
'F6' Stops the Timer
'Ctrl-t' adds a Pomodoro

Pomo estimates
I like your PomoTime application.
I downloaded a few different Pomodoro Technique applications, and I like yours the best.

I had a question about version 1.2.2. Is there way to enter pomo estimates for each task?

Thanks.

A:
At the moment is not possible to enter pomo estimates. I guess that could be an important feature for PT practise.
With versions up to 1.2.2 you can only enter scores like "Pomo done", "Interruption" or "Task completed".
By the way, in the next release 1.2.3 when you complete a task its description gets marked with a crossing line. I added this simple feature because it seems to be really important for your mood to see the completed tasks marked in a different way.
I'm using it and I see that together the overall tomatoes collected into the sheet it really gives you a quick feeling of your performance.
I think that Pomo estimates is a feature that will be implemented in future releases.

More rows in To-do page
very good tool.
And I notice that we can only define at most 5 to -do item and 4 unplanned & urgent.
Can I know the reason not allowing to define more items?
Thanks a lot

A:
In the next release more rows will be available in the To-do page.
Completed tasks will also be marked with a crossing line.

Thank you for your great work.
I have another comment/maybe bug
To open a previous daily task will auto override today's daily task
without any confirmation if restart PomoTime.
Here is steps, e.g today is 2009-11-08
1) Define today's task list
2) Open yesterday's "DailyTask 2009-11-8.pom", after this,
we can see the title in the head of window is "DailyTask 2009-11-8.pom
3) Exit and restart PomoTimer.

Expected result:
1) after restart, PomoTimer should load today's task list or
2) prompt to confirm whether using "openning" tasklist to override
todays' task list.

Actual Result:
Today's tasklist is overwriten without any confirmation.

Maybe a function to browse the history daily tasklist by
clicking the date in Stat page will be better.
Thanks a lot.

Best regards
Shinco

A:
Thanks for your sharp description of the problem.
That's an open issue, I don't know if it will be fixed for the next
release (mid November) or later.

Yes, a browse function on the stats page could be interesting.

Thank you very much for your useful feedfack.
I hope you'll have time to write other notes.

Cheers,
Antonio.

How to delete a score
Hello,
How can I delete a Pomodoro or an Interruption added by mistake?
Thank you :)

A:
You just have to right-click on the row where you want to delete a score,
then select => Scores... (skip this step if you're using old versions)
then => Cancel Last Score.
At the moment all commands are accessible by right-clicking with your mouse on the app window.
Maybe further buttons will be added in the next releases.

Poms limits per task
Why on earth can we only have 5 pomodoros per task? this is strange...
Not a single task I have can be done in <5

A:
Five scores is indeed a limitation.
In the next releases that limit will be increased, maybe up to ten.
Usually when I'm using PomoTime and need more scores for the same task
I split the task in smaller activities.
I guess a well planned task should require 3 or 4 poms at the most.

More room for To-do Sheet
Hi, thanks so much for this application.
Would it be possible for the To Do sheet and the Unplanned and Urgent bits to have more room.
Especially, the unplanned and urgent!

A:
Yes, it will be possible.
When I myself use PomoTime sometimes I see that more rows would in fact be better.
Instead the length of the row I guess is sufficient to put the description of one task.

In a future release (not the 1.2.2 which is about to be published) the pages will be longer.

Automatic Check for Updates
Is there any way to get notified when the next version is out?

A:
Yes, starting from the v1.2.1 the app can check and prompt the user when newer versions are available.
That is not done just when the app starts up or while a pomodoro is going on.
The basic idea is this feature shouldn't be too much intrusive.
The check is performed requesting infos to the server of www.xoring.com
about the last available release.

Multiple scores
What is the need for multiple "tomato done" and "Task Completed" scores for each task/activity ?

A:
Usually a task may require several pomodoros to be completed.
A correct daily plan should locate tasks wich will require 3 or 4 pomodoros at the most.
That's why the 'To-do Sheet' allows multiple tomatoes (pomodoros) for each task.

It is true that multiple 'task completed' scores on the same row are pointless, the app should control that (presumably in a next release).

Thanks for PomoTime!
I just discovered both Pomodoro Technique today and inmediately googled for an appropriate timer.
Your app is more than what I expected.

Problem when leaving the window open overnight
Hi,
There is a problem when you leave the window open overnight: your daily tasks are carried over to the next day.
I didn't find how to clear the new day, even when I deleted the file.

I also have problems with special characters when I write in French: ??*#'^ç#**^?????°€ ...
well at least that's what I see on my keyboard :-)

Thanks again for this nice application !
JoJo

A:

That's an interesting feedback.

The next release 1.2.2 should support non-english characters like
ü, â, ä, à, å, ç, ê, ë è ï î ì Ä Å É æ Æ ô ö, etc...

About the problem you signaled when leaving the app open overnight that's an issue that will be fixed in the future.
I don't think in the next 1.2.2 which is coming soon.

PomoTime customizable options
Hi,
thanks for the nice application, I'm finding it very useful.
I also would find it useful to have a 5 minute time for breaks included.

The 25 minute pomo is fine for me, but the book does suggest working out the best length for yourself
in the 20-45 minute range, so others might like the option to change it.
It would also be nice to have the option of a plain background and easier to read font.
Part of the reason for using a computer program instead of pencil and paper is so it is easier to read and neater looking :)

Thanks again for the program.

Timer Alarm.
Aside from the somewhat cheesy, but effective UI, the app is pretty nice.
Only problem I ran into was when the timers were done...it didn't quite come to the front and grab my attention. I didn't hear any ring or noise of any kind and it popped the window underneath the one I was working in.

The other pomodoro app with less features (focus booster) has a pretty fool-proof timer that brings it's window to the top and most importantly, it makes the effective ringing sound that lets me know it's finished. The app's window folds down into the corner and lets me keep it on top and always see how much time is left too.

Very cool though. I like where these apps are heading, and I might even start one myself based on my own needs.

Thank you very much for your feedback, Umpitygrumpity.

In the next release (I guess for the end of October) there will be a customizable Alarm and Timer ticking sound.
Other people has asked me for that, now it's time to add this feature.

To tell the truth I didn't put any sound in the first releases because I prefer to use the app without disturbing my colleagues.

Also the way the time left is displayed could be changed, don't know yet.

Timer Alarm.
Hi!
I am using PomoTime since this morning, and I am already feeling more productive :)
What I missi is a big Rrrrriiiiiiiiiiiiiinng when the timer reaches zero. Sometimes, I just continue to work without noticing that I am working overtime :)
Thanks, and congratulations for this useful software!
JoJo.

A:
The timer alarm will be for sure one the very next features added in the next releases.
To tell the truth I didn't add the alarm because I don't want to disturb my colleagues near me. But I think it's time to add this feature, better if it customizable by the user.

Customize timer length, alarm, break.
Feature request: ability to customize timer length, alarm, break.
in addition to being able to control the alarm (sound, volume, duration) I believe the option of a ticking clock would also be a good addition.

Thanks for your software!

A:
1-Timer length
==============
The PomodoroTechnique always requires a time interval of 25' for each
pomodoro. I don't think the timer length should be customizable, isn't it?

2-Alarm
=======
In the next versions a window for the settings will be added. One of
the setting will be just the Alarm (i.e. Enable/Disable or selecting
the alarm sound, etc.)

3-Break
=======
At the moment you can start/stop the timer by pressing 'F5' and 'F6'
keys respectively.

Russian, central-european characters support.
No non-english (russian, central-european) characters support.

A:
The next release 1.2.2 should support non-english characters like
ü, â, ä, à, å, ç, ê, ë è ï î ì Ä Å É æ Æ ô ö, etc...

How to remove a score
No ability to remove accidently added pom/interruprion/complete mark.

A:
You can remove a pom/interruption from your score by right-clicking with the mouse on the right portion of the window where the scores are displayed.
This feature is not available if you click on the left-middle portion of the window where
task descriptions are displayed. I think it would be better to change this behaviour.
Thanks Pupkin.

Text brightness
Is there any way of increasing the brightness of the text on the pomotime sheet?  The current contrast between the sheet colour and the text colour makes it difficult to read easily.  When focus is removed from the application this becomes worse making it necessary to give focus back to it to read the list of tasks.  I am running on Windows XP SP3

A:
I'm working on that issue. My original purpose was to make it look like as it was written by a pencil. After your post I see that even if it works fine on some monitors, on some lcd in fact is not so easy to read the text.
I still don't  know if it would be better to allow the user to choose the colors or simply setting it to a fixed black.
Thanks markhop for your contribution.
